TEHRAN, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Intelligence Ministry has identified and arrested members of an Israeli spy network planning to sabotage the country's defense industry, Tasnim News Agency reported Monday.

The espionage network linked to Mossad, the national intelligence agency of Israel, was seeking to collect information from Iranian companies that cooperate with Iran's defense industries, said the Tasnim report.

Mossad tried to advance its plan under Triple A Industries, a supplier of alloys and composites for aerospace applications based in Singapore, which had communications with Iranian companies that supply carbon fibers, resin, and other metal alloys, it said.

Hadrien Lavaux, the managing director of Triple A Industries and Mossad's "cover-up" agent, gathered information about Iran's defense industries through his associates in Iran, according to the report.

Israel did not respond to the allegations.
