PLA Army conducts drills regularly in west China's plateau area

Even in midsummer, it was still cold in the plateau hinterland of west China at an altitude of over 4,300 meters. Conducting drills regularly on the plateau has not only increased the difficulty and intensity of training subjects, but also expanded the scope and breadth of integration.

Foreign military attachés in China visit Western Theater Command

Organized by China's Ministry of National Defense, military attachés from more than 50 countries made an observation tour to the Western Theater Command of the Chinese People's Liberation Army from May 21 to 23.

Air force sends transport aircraft to Tibet to evacuate sick soldier

An air force Y-9 transport aircraft sent by the PLA Western Theater Command successfully transferred an officer in critical conditions from Lhasa, Tibet, to Chengdu. This is the first time that the PLA has used a Y-9 transport aircraft for air medical rescue.
