BEIJING, Nov. 24 -- November 23rd marked the 10th anniversary of Chinese J15 fighter jet's first successful take-off and landing on China's first aircraft carrier Liaoning. On Nov. 23, 2012, a homemade J-15 carrier-based fighter jet attached to the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) made a successful sortie of test flight aboard China’s first aircraft carrier Liaoning for the first time, marking huge breakthroughs in key flight technologies such as arrested landing and ski-jump take-off.
