BEIJING, Sept. 21 -- An investigation conducted recently by the Logistic Support Department under the Central Military Commission (CMC) in the frontier defense troops showed that the newly-developed outfits for frontier defense troops to use in their patrol tasks are welcomed by border guards with the advanced design and practical functions based on high technologies.
The new border patrol outfits mainly include different kinds of cold-proof clothes, accessories, and individual training articles, such as the lightweight cold-proof training coat, the anti-leech camouflage skin clothing, anti-glare glasses, multi-function insulation kettle, totaling 15 categories. They are able to meet the needs of frontier defense troops in different geographical environments from alpine-cold plateaus to areas with high temperature and humidity, as well as regions featuring temperature’s sharp rise and fall in a short period of time.
