BEIJING, Oct. 11 -- Among the recruits at a training base of the PLA Marine Corps enlisted during the autumn conscription of 2022, there are twin sisters, Li Yuqi and Li Yutong, from Zibo city, east China’s Shandong Province.
Born in 2002, the twin sisters grew up longing for military life and determined to apply for military academy together. In 2021, they missed their dreams because their college entrance exam results didn’t reach the score line of the military academy they applied for. But the twin didn’t give up. In the 2022 autumn conscription, they finally got enlisted into the military, signed up as college students.
