2022年5月，西藏安多的最低气温仍然零下，一辆大巴车在夜色中奔驰，冷风从车窗缝隙吹进来，车窗外含氧量不足平原的50%，在这起伏交错的省道上，汽车坚定地驶向远方。
In May 2022, the minimum temperature in Amdo County, Xizang Autonomous Region, was still subzero, when a coach was running in darkness, with cold wind squeezing in through window gaps and the oxygen content outside less than 50% of that in plain area.
他们是东部战区总医院第20批援藏医疗队。来自医院普通外科、骨科、妇产科、五官科、检验科等一行9人赶赴雪域高原西藏安多开始为期六个月的驻点帮扶任务。
The 9 persons onboard were the members of the 20th medical teamsent by the General Hospital of the PLA Eastern Theater Command to provide medical assistance to Xizang. The destination of the 9 team members, respectively from departments of general surgery, or thopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, ENT, and clinical lab, was Amdo County, where they would start a six-month medical assistance mission.
安多县，隶属于西藏自治区那曲市，地处唐古拉山脉南麓。安多县城平均海拔4700米以上，是世界海拔最高的县城之一。这里风多、雪多、冷天气多，气候恶劣，变幻无常，四季都是严冬。
Amdo County, subordinate to Nagqu City, Xizang Autonomous Region, is located at the southern foot of the Tanggula Mountains. With an average altitude of over 4,700 meters, the county seat of Amdo is one of the highest county seats in the world. Amdo features a harsh and fickle climate as shown by heavy wind and snow, almost being in harsh winter all through the year.
在对口帮扶的安多县人民医院，医疗队员克服缺氧、语言不通等障碍，开展疾病诊断、手术治疗、专项病种筛查与救助、健康科普教育等工作。
In the People's Hospital of Amdo County, the medical team members carried out disease diagnosis, surgical treatment, special disease screening and rescue, and health science popularization and education, while overcoming obstacles such as hypoxia and language barriers.
九月下旬，一名藏族孕妇在安多县医院生产时难产，医疗队吴栋云护士长和郑翠霞护士长及时赶到，在专业的手法腹压助力下婴儿顺利降生。但由于产程过长，新生儿发生窒息，皮肤紫绀，医护人员立刻对婴儿进行抢救。情况未见好转，情急之下，吴栋云护士长直接用嘴对男婴进行人工呼吸，清理呼吸道。数分钟后，一声啼哭，产房里一片欢呼。
In late September, a Tibetan pregnant woman suffered dystocia when giving birth to her baby at the Amdo County Hospital. Head Nurse Wu Dongyun and Head Nurse Zheng Cuixia, both are members of the medical team, arrived in time, and thanks to their professional abdominal pressure, the baby was born. However, due to the long labor process, the newborn suffered from suffocation and cyanosis. Although the medical staff immediately rescued the baby, the situation did not turn up. Desperately, Nurse Wu performed artificial respiration on the baby boy to clear his airway. A few minutes later, the baby gave a cry and cheers filled the delivery room.
西藏疫情发生后，曾参加过武汉火神山医院疫情防控的援藏医疗队员徐敏护士长跟随当地工作组先后10余次深入唐古拉国道沿线50多个一线疫情重点点位进行巡查指导，开展疫情防控现场培训，为一线抗疫人员针对防护服穿脱、规范核酸采样、重点点位消杀、安全交流距离规范等内容进行授课指导。
After the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic in Xizang, Xu Min, a head nurse, who had participated in the epidemic prevention and control at Huoshenshan Hospital in Wuhan in 2020, joined the local COVID-19 control working group to make more than 10 inspection tours over 50 key points along the Tanggula National Highway, where Xu carried out on-site training on epidemic prevention and control, provided teaching guidance for personnel working at the epidemic control front-line on the correct use of protective clothing, standardized nucleic acid sampling, disinfection ofkey positions, and specifications on safe inter-personal communication distances.
自2001年起，东部战区总医院针对帮带的安多县医院从管理、技术、人才、硬件支持等方面进行全面帮带，提升了帮扶医院的整体技术水平，惠及了藏族群众。
Since 2001, the General Hospital of the PLA Eastern Theater Command has been offering comprehensive assistance to the hospitals in the Amdo County in the areas of management, technologies, medical staff training and equipment, promoting the overall upgrading of medical technology level of the hospitals and benefiting the local people.
