BEIJING, July 21 -- Recently, a brigade of the PLA 72nd Group Army carried out long-distance ferrying training at a strange sea area of southeastern China. During the voyage, soldiers on the landing ship conducted anti-chemical expertise training such as toxic chemical agents detection and inspection and contaminants examination, together with maritime operations training at night, in a bid to improve the adaptability of the equipment in complex maritime conditions and temper the troops’ ability of handling emergencies at sea.
