"At first, I wrote letters to the relatives at the addresses listed in the forms, but more than half a century had passed and lots of the information had changed," he said. "I didn't receive any replies."
Then he tried to visit different martyrs' memorial cemeteries to find more information.
"Although I had found dozens of tombs of martyrs, I didn't get more useful information about their families or hometowns," he said. "I didn't find any of the relatives until 2005."
