"It was really a large amount at that time — several months of retirement pension," he said. "Failing to get a bargain, I finally spent the 3,000 yuan."
"When I checked the information carefully, I found most of the martyrs were young people at their 20s; the youngest was only 18," he said. "Then I decided to send the materials to their hometowns."
It wasn't easy for Wang to find the relatives even though addresses had been recorded in the materials.
