BEIJING, April 2 -- Recently, a combined-arms regiment under the PLA Xinjiang Military Command stationed on the Karakoram Plateau at an elevation of more than 4,500 meters conducted the training drills on offensive combat in mountainous area. Troops of the armored, engineer, reconnaissance and chemical defense forces got coordinated to seize and control key points, in the process of which the technical and tactical performance of various new equipment has been tested.
