SHANGHAI, Apr. 2 -- Three submariners from the Special Medical Center of the PLA Naval Medical University ascended 194.6 meters to the water surface within 90 seconds in a fast buoyancy ascent escape experiment, breaking the previous world record of 190.6 meters created by the British Navy.
