DJIBOUTI, May. 15 (ChinaMil) -- Over 100 students from local primary schools in Djibouti visited the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Support Base there on the morning of May 13, local time. The support base is China's first overseas base of this kind.

This activity, jointly organized by the General Staff Headquarters of the Djibouti Armed Forces (DJAF) and the Ministry of National and Higher Education of Djibouti, aims to help Djibouti primary school students know more about Chinese culture and the Chinese military, promote communications between local people and the Chinese troops stationed in the support base, so as to carry forward the friendship between the two peoples.

During the two-hour visit, the pupils visited the recreational and sports center, gymnasium and soldiers' dormitory, had interactions with Chinese soldiers. At the end of the visit, each of the pupil received a little gift prepared by the support base.
