The successful return of China's first manned spacecraft realized the millenium long dream of space flight of China and the spirit of manned space flight inspired the Chinese people to keep paces with the times. The officers and men of the PLA and Armed Police Force earnestly study the important speech of General Secretary Hu Jintao delivered at the ceremony to celebrate the success of China's first manned space flight. All of them expressed their determination to carry forward the spirit of manned space flight so as to boost the military changes and the army building in a down-to-earth way.

　　In the past days, all unite have organized officers and men to earnestly study the important speech made by General Secretary Hu Jintao at the celebration ceremony of China's first manned space flight. In their discussion, the officers and men of the Shenyang Military Area Command (MAC), Lanzhou MAC, Jinan MAC, the Second Artillery Force and the Armed Police Force reviewed all those great achievements that we have made in various fields in recent years and came to a conclusion that the achievement of the first manned space flight were important marks of our ever-increasing comprehensive national strength and ever-enhancing science and technology of China in the past two decades since the central government adopted the policy of opening up. The officers and men of the Nanjing MAC, Chengdu MAC, the Navy and the Air Force said that the successful return of the first manned space flight proved again that if only we stick to the basic theory, line and principle of the Party, stick to the principle of keeping economic development as the central task unswervingly, stick to the principle of strengthening our nation by means of opening up and stick to the harmonious development of the economy and the society, we will be able to obtain greater success constantly in socialist modernization drive.
