A young engineer's splendid life
¡¡¡¡

¡¡¡¡In four years after graduation as a postgraduate, Zuo Li broke through 5 key scientific themes, won one first-class, three second-class and one third-class Scientific and Technological Progress Award of the PLA and all her research achievements were adopted by the army. Zuo displayed the charm of a modern young scientific worker with her talent and perseverance.

¡¡¡¡Step on the international academic rostrum at 27

¡¡¡¡In October 2000, the International Environment Engineering Conference was held in Beijing.A Chinese girl went on the rostrum and gave her speech entitled "the Application of Membrane Technology in Water Disposal".In a moment, experts from the U.S, Japan and Canada exclaimed: such a young lady has already stepped to the front of the subject. But she was only 27 then.Besides reading out her lectures, Zuo also answered questions from the experts with fluent English.

¡¡¡¡Later, Zuo's scientific and research result won a second-class Scientific and Technological Progress Award of the PLA.

¡¡¡¡Lead to resolve key problem at 28

¡¡¡¡When the "integrated poison-filter and ventilation device" was used in a kind of missile, it won wide praise from the army, because it provide effective protection system for the officers and men. This is the first key scientific and technological problem solved by Zuo Li after her graduation.

¡¡¡¡When the device come out at the end of 2001, all cast praiseful eyes on Zuo. The valuation from the experts is: small in cubage, fresh in formation, great in ventilation, high in pressure and several indices take the lead of the world.

¡¡¡¡Not long ago, Zuo was given the title of "Top Ten Pacesetter in Learning of the Army".
