　　At three o'clock yesterday afternoon, a military-civilian hand-over ceremony was held at the Xiaotangshan Hospital. At the ceremony, the Xiaotangshan Hospital, which had been in the charge of the PLA in the last two months, was formally handed over to Beijing Municipal Government. The Ministry of Finance, the Medical Service Department of the PLA General Logistics Department, and Beijing Municipal Government attended the ceremony.

　　The Xiaotangshan Hospital has a great variety of materials, a large volume of outlay, and complicated medical equipment and instruments. After the last group of SARS patients left the hospital, the Party Committee of the hospital carefully checked and sorted out all the accounts and medical materials so as not to leave chaotic accounts or some residual effects. Experts from related functional departments of Beijing Municipality, the Ministry of Finance and the National Audit Office came to the hospital and formed four expert groups, namely audit group, medicine and instruments group, SARS patients' medical records group, and capital construction group. At the hand-over ceremony, Beijing Municipal Government took over from the PLA all the accounts, materials, medicine, equipment, and donations of the Xiaotangshan Hospital. A leader from Beijing Municipal Government said that such meticulous preparation for the hand-over work on the part of the PLA has reflected again the Xiaotangshan spirit and demonstrated the excellent work style of the PLA.
