　　"My best wish is to have a sound sleep!" Wang Zeqing said to the reporter, " but how can I fall into sleep with such an excellent scientific research environment and resources".

　　As a dean doctor of Psychological Department of the No.301 Hospital, M.D. Wang Zeqing has had less than an average of 5 hours of sleep each day since he came to the Xiaotangshan Hospital. He organized the first psychological emergency interference team of the PLA with his colleagues and made several research breakthroughs on psychological interference treatment on the front line. Meanwhile, the project of "Research on Effect of Military Operation Environment to the Psychology of Servicemen and the Protection Measures" with him as the chief scientist has achieved staged achievement in actual application.

　　The reporter learned that there are lots of such kinds of "special soldier" as M.D. Wang Zeqing in the Xiaotangshan Hospital to conduct research against time. The deputy dean of Medical Affairs Department Guo Tingkai said it is a task entrusted by the General Logistics Department to make good use of the medical resources to carry out scientific research. In line with the unified deployment, at the beginning of the establishment of the hospital, a coordinating team has been set up with the hospital president Zhang Yanling as the team leader, to coordinate the members of the expert team from more than 10 military research institutions such as the Academy of Military Medical Science, the No.301 Hospital, the General Hospital of the Beijing Military Area Command, to conduct more than 40 research projects concerning the aetiology, pathogeny, diagnosis, treatment, prevention and protection of SARS.

　　"Using clinic to carry out research, grasping the opportunity to make achievements", the Party committee of the hospital put forward such proposals to the medical workers in the front line. Soon, a competition of scientific research on the basis of the practices against SARS was launched in the hospital. Combining with the clinic practices, the medical team leader of the Chengdu Military Area Command Ma Zhongsheng organized the members to exchange experience and lessons in leisure time. The medical team members of the Beijing Military Area Command carried out contests among themselves and each person has papers and projects.

　　What if there is no time? Seize every opportunity. The dean of Nursing Department Zhao Shuyuan input outlines of more than 10 projects into computers and asked each member to add content whenever they are free. With such a method, the 5 members of the Nursing Department had completed 11 papers concerning the clinic nursing of SARS patients in about a month.
