   Daily reporting of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) cases from the Chinese Ministry of Health as of 10:00 a.m. June 1:

  Cumulative SARS cases: 5,328;

  SARS patients discharged: 3,431;

  Deaths related to SARS: 332;

  Suspected SARS cases: 982.

  The following is a breakdown of the figures in the major SARS-affected areas on the Chinese mainland:
