Major General Jin Yinan is vice director of the Strategic Teaching and Research Department of the National Defense University (NDU). Jin has been awarded "Outstanding Professor" for three consecutive years by the NDU. He is renowned in China for his profound knowledge and in-depth research in the national defense strategy and state safety with a large batch of research findings. In 2006, the Central Military Commission awarded Jin a second-class merit and at the end of the same year, Jin won the 1st " Excellent Professional Talents Award" of the PLA.
