Over 100,000 reserve soldiers aged 25-45 have received military training in
Georgia in the past few years, news reports said.
Georgia said it had seized control over almost all towns and villages in
its breakaway republic of South Ossetia, following a major ground and air
offensive.
However, the South Ossetian information committee said Georgian troops
failed to seize its capital of Tskhinvali and the city continues resistance
despite shelling.
