Li Jinai, member of the Central Military Commission and director of the General Political Department of the PLA, had an informal discussion with representatives of the psychological expert groups of the PLA returned from the quake-hit areas yesterday morning, and watched a photo exhibition and a TV documentary themed on army's psychological education and service work in the quake-hit areas.

　　In this earthquake rescue and relief operation, the General Political Department of the PLA sent 88 psychological experts in four groups to the earthquake rescue and relief frontline, and the General Logistics Department and other major military organizations of the PLA also sent more than 50 emergency psychological service teams and 350-odd experts to the quake-stricken areas to provide psychological service to the people there.

　　During the informal discussion, Li Jinai and other leaders of the General Political Department fully affirmed the fruitful work of the psychological experts in the earthquake rescue and relief frontline, and expressed the hope that they would play greater role in fulfilling diversified military tasks in the days to come and make more contributions to promoting better and faster development of the army building.

　　Deputy directors Liu Yongzhi, Sun Zhongtong, Liu Zhenqi and Jia Tingan, assistant directors Du Jincai and Xu Yaoyuan, of the PLA General Political Department, also attended the informal discussion.
