　　Chen Bingde, member of the Central Military Commission and chief of general staff of the PLA, stressed on March 19 when he conveyed the essence of the 1st Session of the 11th NPC to the PLA General Staff Headquarters that the PLA General Staff Headquarters was the leading military organ, thus it should do a good job in getting prepared for military struggles according to high standard and in high quality in light of the needs of the execution of various military actions and tasks.

　　Li Jinai, member of the Central Military Commission and director of the General Political Department of the PLA, stressed on March 20 when he conveyed the essence of the 1st Session of the 11th NPC to the PLA General Political Department that the PLA General Political Department should make energetic efforts to do a good job in arming the whole army with socialist theoretical system with Chinese characteristics, stepping up political work preparations for military struggles, and promoting ideological and political development in an innovative spirit .

　　Liao Xilong, member of the Central Military Commission and director of the General Logistics Department of the PLA, stressed on March 20 when he conveyed the essence of the 1st Session of the 11th NPC to the PLA General Logistics Department that the Party committees, leaders and organs at various levels of the PLA General Logistics Department should positively response to the requirements of the new situation and new tasks of China's reform and opening-up and modernization drive of the armed forces, and promote various logistics reforms in an active and prudent way.

　　Chang Wanquan, member of the Central Military Commission and director of the General Armaments Department of the PLA, stressed on March 19 when he conveyed the essence of the 1st Session of the 11th NPC to the PLA General Armaments Department that the troops of the PLA General Armaments Department should fulfill various tasks according to high standard and strive to open up new prospects for the annual work.
