Wu Bangguo is reelected chairman of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee during the fifth plenary meeting of the NPC session in Beijing, capital of China, March 15, 2008.

　　BEIJING, March 15 (Xinhua) -- Wu Bangguo was reelected chairman of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee on Saturday morning at the ongoing annual session of Chinese top legislature.

　　Wu, born in 1941, had been chairman of the 10th NPC Standing Committee since March 2003.

　　He is also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee.
