Yesterday morning, Chen Bingde, member of the Central Military Commission
and chief of general staff of the PLA, Li Jinai, member of the Central Military
Commission and director of the General Political Department of the PLA, Liao
Xilong, member of the Central Military Commission and director of the General
Logistics Department of the PLA, Chang Wanquan, member of the Central Military
Commission and director of the General Armament Department of the PLA, visited
delegates of a specially invited military delegates group attending the 1st
Session of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political
Consultative Conference(CPPCC) in Jingfeng Hotel on behalf of the Central
Military Commission and the PLA four general headquarters/departments.
In Jingfeng Hotel, leaders of the PLA four general headquarters/departments
went into the rooms of each delegate of the specially invited military delegates
group who have come from all over the country, cordially chatted with them and
urged them to keep firmly in mind the historical mission, actively offer advices
and suggestions on national development and reform. In return, the delegates
expressed their thanks to the leaders of the Central Military Commission and the
PLA four general headquarters/departments for their kind concern and pledged to
maintain a high degree of agreement with the Central Committee of the CPC at any
time and under any circumstances, and offer more constructive suggestions so as
to play a better role in performing their functions of participating in the
discussion and administration of state affairs.
As the opening ceremony of the 1st Session of the 11th National Committee
of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference is near at hand, a
total of 60 delegates of the specially invited military delegates group to the
new National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference
have all registered.
