eliminated 30 Taliban fighters in Afghanistan's southern Uruzgan province,
provincial police chief Juma Gul Humat said Monday.
"Troops came in contact with Taliban insurgents in Khurma village out of
provincial capital Trinkot Sunday night and the troops called in aircrafts,"
Humat told Xinhua. "As a result 30 militants were killed and their bodies are
stilly lying on the ground."
