Hu Jintao, chairman of the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China, signed the order and circular days ago to confer honorable titles on three individuals, including Professor Fang Yonggang of the Political Department of the Dalian Naval Academy, and the Automobile Company of the Shenzhen Base of the PLA Hong Kong Garrison, and to award citations for merit on 25 individuals and four units.

　　In recent years, the PLA has been firmly implementing the decisions and instructions of the Central Committee of the CPC, the Central Military Commission and Chairman Hu Jintao, faithfully fulfilling its functions and missions, enhancing army building in an all round way, and successfully completing various tasks with the preparation for military struggles as the center. As a result, a large batch of advanced models have mushroomed in the aspects of studying the innovation theories of the Party, fulfilling training tasks of combat readiness and carrying out the teaching and scientific research work.
