The PLA security work conference wound up in Beijing yesterday morning. When it was on, Guo Boxiong, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the CPC, vice chairman of the Central Military Commission, attended the conference and met with the attendees. Guo Boxiong stressed that the whole army should hold high the great banners of Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thought of "Three Represents", all-roundly implement the scientific outlook on development, and incorporate security work in the overall arrangement of all-round army building so as to ensure the security and stability of the troops, successfully fulfill various tasks and greet the successful convening of the 17th National Congress of the CPC with outstanding achievements.

　　Cao Gangchuan, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the CPC, vice chairman of the Central Military Commission, state councilor and defense minister, and Xu Caihou, member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the CPC and vice chairman of the Central Military Commission, met with the attendees, while Liang Guanglie, Li Jinai, Liao Xilong, Chen Bingde and Jing Zhiyuan, all members of the Central Military Commission, also attended the conference and meeting.

　　Leaders from the four general headquarters/departments of the PLA and the General Office of the Central Military Commission Yang Zhiqi, Sun Zhongtong, Zhu Fazhong and Jia Ting'an as well as the responsible persons of the PLA major organizations and the Armed Police attended the conference too.
