Guo Boxiong and Xu Caihou, members of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and vice chairmen of the Central Military Commission, watched the dance drama Peony Pavilion in the China Grand Theater last night.

　　Li Jinai, member of the Central Military Commission and director of the General Political Department of the PLA also watched the performance.

　　The Peony Pavilion, is a representative work by the outstanding Chinese dramatist Tang Xianzu of the 16th century. The work, through the romantic love story between Du Liniang and Liu Mengmei, reflects the persistent aspiration for freedom, free love and exposes the evil of the feudal ethics.

　　After the performance, Guo Boxiong, Xu Caihou and Li Jinai stepped on the stage to congratulate on the successful performance and took pictures together with all cast and crew.
