Yesterday evening, the Jingxi Hotel was permeated with a jubilant festive atmosphere. Leaders from the Central Military Commission (CMC) and the PLA four general headquarters and departments joyfully celebrated the 80^th anniversary of the founding of the People's Liberation Army together with the representatives attending the PLA Heroes and Model Servicemen Representative Conference. Guo Boxiong, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC CentralCommittee and vice chairman of the CMC and Cao Gangchuan, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, vice chairman of the CMC, state councilor and minister of national defense, attended the celebration activity. Xu Caihou, member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and vice chairman of the CMC, made a congratulatory speech.
