　　Guo Boxing, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and vice chairman of the Central Military Commission, stressed at the PLA Military Training Commendation and Mobilization Videoconference held on Jan. 26 that the whole army should, holding high the great banners of Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thought of "Three Represents", implementing in an all-round way the scientific outlook on development, effectively carrying out the historical mission of the army in the new century and the new period and taking the military strategy for the new period as the overall guidance and the preparations for military struggle as the focal point, further unify the thinking, strengthen the leadership and upgrade the training standards by centering closely on the theme of accelerating the transition from military training under conditions of mechanization to that under conditions of informationalization, and strive to realize the new breakthrough and new development in military training so as to greet the convention of the 17th National Congress of the CPC with excellent training results.
