Xu Caihou calls for improving Party's style of work and stepping up anti-corruption in the army

  While attending the PLA discipline inspection work conference, Xu Caihou, member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the CPC and vice chairman of the Central Military Commission, stressed that Party committees and discipline inspection commissions at all levels should earnestly carry out the spirit of the 6th Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee and the 7th Plenary Session of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC, hold high the great banners of Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thought of "Three Represents", firmly establish and all-roundly put into effect the scientific outlook on development, and push forward in depth the drive of improving the Party's style of work and stepping up anti-corruption in the army so as to provide staunch assurance to the army building and the preparation for military struggle.

  Li Jinai, member of the Central Military Commission and director of the General Political Department of the PLA, chaired the conference.

  Li Jinai called on Party committees and discipline inspection commissions at all levels to earnestly pass on and study the spirit of the 7th Plenary Session of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC and the PLA discipline inspection work conference, bring our thought in conformity with the decision and arrangements of the Central Committee of the CPC and the Central Military Commission in great earnest, grasp the overall requirements for improving the Party's style of work and stepping up anti-corruption in the army, earnestly do a good job in the planning of various work, strengthen the organization and leadership, make great efforts in carrying out various tasks of combating corruption and promoting an honest and clean environment, and make sure that headway is made continuously in improving the Party's style of work and anti-corruption in the army.
