Li Jinai, member of the Central Military Commission and director of the General Political Department of the PLA, met with the military representatives attending the 10th National Conference Commending Justice-Upholding Heroes and Advanced Elements yesterday afternoon, during which he stressed that the army should take promoting the justice-upholding spirit as an important content of its efforts to strengthen ideological and political development of the troops, guide the officers and men to carry forward the fine tradition of the army and always put the people's interests above everything else and faithfully fulfill the sacred missions entrusted by the Party and the people.

　　At the 10th National Conference Commending Justice-Upholding Heroes and Advanced Elements, Chen Liezhou, a second class NCO of a group army of the Nanjing Military Area Command, won the title of "National Justice-Upholding Hero" while Zhang Rongtao, an assistant engineer of a base of the PLA Navy, and Li Fei, a first class NCO of the Hebi Detachment of the Armed Police Henan Provincial Contingent, were awarded the title of "National Justice-Upholding Advanced Element."

　　Sun Zhongtong, deputy director of the PLA General Political Department joined Li Jinan to meet with the military representatives attending the 10th National Conference Commending Justice-Upholding Heroes and Advanced Elements.
