Xu Caihou, vice chairman of the Central Military Commission, returned to Beijing yesterday after winding up successfully his official and goodwill visit to Australia and New Zealand, accompanying him were the key members of his entourage, including Liu Yuan, political commissar of the Academy of Military Sciences of the PLA, Sun Sijing, deputy political commissar of the General Logistics Department, and Sun Jianguo, chief of staff of the Chinese Navy.

　　Assistant Chief of General Staff Zhang Qinsheg, Director of the General Office of the Central Military Commission Jia Ting'an, and Director General of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Ministry of National Defense Zhang Bangdong greeted them at the airport.
