Xu Caihou, member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the CPC and vice chairmen of the Central Military Commission, stressed during his recent investigation tour in the units of the Shenyang War Theatre, that the entire army should stick to the guidance of Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thought of "Three Represents", make greater efforts to arm the mind of the officers and men with the scientific outlook on development, earnestly study and implement Chairman Hu Jintao's major strategic thinking on enhancing the construction of the advanced nature of the Party, constantly upgrade the construction level of the advanced nature of the Party in the army, and boost the faster and better development of the army building.

　　During the investigation tour, Xu Caihou visited some frontier and coastal defense units of the Shenyang War Theatre and was briefed about their work, and held talks with the officers and men. He also went to the frontline companies, sentries and families of frontier defense officers to conduct on-the-spot inspection of the troops' training and grassroots' cultural and life facilities.

　　Liu Zhenqi, deputy director of the General Political Department, and leaders of the General Office of the Central Military Commission accompanied Xu during the investigation tour.
