PLA Daily 2005-06-13 　　 　　Li Jinai, member of the Central Military Commission and director of the General Political Department of the PLA, recently emphasized, while talking to the graduates of the first training course for the young and middle aged leading cadres run by the National Defense University, that the broad young and middle-aged cadres of the armed forces should rally more closely around the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Hu Jintao as general secretary, hold high the great banner of Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thought of "Three Represents", study and implement Jiang Zemin's thinking on national defense and army building in a deep-going way, earnestly study and implement a series of important instructions of Chairman Hu Jintao, resolutely carry through the historical missions entrusted to the military in the new century and new period, and strive to be the staunch practicers of the important thought of "Three Represents", pioneers of the military building and reform and close friends of the broad officers and men. They are also urged to work hard and make new achievements that are worthy of the times, our motherland, the people and the PLA. 　　Li stressed that the young and middle-aged cadres bear the great responsibilities entrusted by the times, are our backbone force for the army building and reform, and represent the hope and future of the army building.
