PLA Daily 2004-11-26
Yesterday, Li Suzhi's Advanced Deeds Reporting Team held a public
report on Li Suzhi's exemplary deeds for more than 1,500 officers and men
from the PLA General Logistics Department and military medical
organizations in Beijing. Prior to the meeting, Liao Xilong, member of the
Central
Military Commission
and director of the PLA General Logistics Department, cordially met with
the members of the team, during which he stressed that all the PLA
officers and men, particularly medical workers and leading cadres, should
earnestly learn from Comrade Li Suzhi to become more conscious in
implementing the important thought of “Three Represents”, and should
remember all the time the “Two Musts” requirements, and work hard with
selfless devotedness and be brave in blazing new trails, so as to make
greater contributions to the military logistics revolutions with Chinese
characteristics and logistics preparedness for the military struggles.
Liao Xilong highly praised Li Suzhi for his voluntary
application to work in Tibet and for his selfless dedication to his work
on the Tibet Plateau for dozens of years. He called on all the officers
and men to carry out extensive activities to learn from Li Suzhi in a
deep-going way.
Li's moving deeds have evoked strong
reverberation among officers and men attending the meeting. They
unanimously indicated that Li Suzhi gained his knowledge from a college of
the PLA General Logistics Department, and then grew up and worked hard in
Tibet; he is really the pride of the officers and men working in the PLA
logistics field. We must model ourselves on him to work conscientiously in
an enterprising spirit and strive to render meritorious service at our own
posts.
Political Commissar Zhang Wentai, Deputy Director Wang
Qian, and Deputy Political Commissar Liu Yuan of the PLA General Logistics
Department also met with the reporting team and attended the report
meeting.
