At the discipline inspection meeting of the PLA, Guo Boxiong, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the CPC, vice chairman of the Central Military Commission emphasized that the important speech of Hu Jintao, general secretary of the CPC, profoundly expatiated on the issues of devoting major efforts to carry forward the spirit of being realistic and pragmatic and of energetically encouraging the truth-seeking style of work from the strategic level of realizing the grand objective of building a well-off society in an all-round way, and put forward specific requirements on deepening the task of anti-corruption and building a clean party. The speech is a programmatic document for strengthening the building of Party style and deepening the mission of anti-corruption and building a clean party and therefore, is of great immediate meaning and profound historical significance in terms of further improving the working-style of the cadres, deepening the struggle of fighting against corruption and improving the Party's style of work, promoting the great undertaking of Party-building in an all-round way and ensuring the smooth development of reform and opening-up and the modernization drive.
