A few days ago, Liao Xilong, member of the Central Military Commission and director of the General Logistics Department of the PLA visited at Beidaihe, a privileged summer resort, the holiday-making representatives of the outstanding scientific and technological officers, grassroots officers and those working for veteran officers and education of children, and extended his warm regards to them. Liao Xilong also expressed heart-felt appreciations for their outstanding achievements in logistics modernization construction of the army. 　　Liao Xilong put forward three expectations to them when they return back to their posts after the vacation. To wit, first, hold high the banner of "Three Represents", make great efforts to arm their mind with the important thought of "Three Represents", remold their subjective world continuously, strengthen their political conviction, and establish correct world outlook, outlook on life and values. Secondly, study hard and earnestly Chairman Jiang Zemin's thinking on national defense and army building, study and explore actively the characteristics and rules of information warfare and logistics support, and promote the logistics modernization construction of the army from a new starting point.
