Li Jinai, member of the Central Military Commission and director of the General Armaments Department, emphasized Monday on the videoconference for the exchange of experience in the study and implementation of the important thought of "Three Represents" that greater efforts should be made to combine theory closely with reality, solve practical problems and create a new situation in armaments modernization drive with full political enthusiasm and vigor. 　　Li Jinai pointed out that presently the tasks of armaments modernization and scientific research are very arduous. We must unify our thoughts with "success is the hard principle" to lay an ideological foundation for fulfilling key test tasks, strengthen organizational leadership, give prominence to quality control, stick to the principle of giving guidance by staying in the forefront and keeping tight control in each link, clarifying and specifying responsibility for each unit and each person; and we must be pragmatic and realistic, do practical work and seek after actual effect, maintain a sober mind, and keep a high spiritual status and pragmatic working style to ensure the successful accomplishment of various tasks. 　　(August 11, PLA Daily)
