In order to improve its field medical aid capability, the No.148 Hospital of the Jinan Military Area Command has actively explored new approaches for treating the war wounded. It has adopted interventional embolism for the treatment of acute arterial hemorrhage, which is a new way to treat the wounded on the battlefield. The hospital has successfully saved over 100 patients suffering from acute arterial hemorrhage with this new technology. In addition, it has also developed intelligent liquid preparation machine for field operations, portable ribbing tractor and portable heart-lung resuscitator for the purpose of meeting the needs of battlefield medical rescue operation to save the wounded.
