On August 14, the PLA General Logistics Department organized officers newly recruited this year from civilian universities and colleges to hold an oath-taking ceremony in front of the Monument in Commemoration of the Victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. All the officers swore to carry on the cause left behind by the martyrs and devote themselves heart and soul to serving their country.
