On August 12, the General Staff Headquarters (GSH) and the General Armaments Department (GAD) of the PLA respectively held public lectures on studying and implementing the important thought of "Three Represents" in a deep-going way throughout the army in Beijing, at which members of the advanced models in studying and implementing the important thought of "Three Represents" introduced their valuable experience and moving deeds in simple and unaffected languages. Their gripping reports were warmly received by officers and men attending the lectures.
Li Jinai, member of the Central Military Commission and director of the General Armaments Department of the PLA, attended the public lecture held by the General Armaments Department, at which he asked officers and men at all levels in the General Armaments Department to become more conscious and determined in studying and implementing the important thought of "Three Represents" and push full-steam ahead with the modernization drive of weaponry and equipment of the PLA with higher standard and stricter requirements.
