The No. 404 Hospital of the Jinan Military Area Command has always adhered to the principle of "selecting research projects in compliance with needs of grassroots units and applying research results at grassroots units". In line with this thought, the hospital carefully reviewed 13 scientific research subjects for this year one by one, and eventually seven of them were cancelled, as they were irrelevant to the combat wounds and training wounds. The multifunctional medical built-up appliance developed by the hospital is portable and it needs only a dozen or so minutes to be assembled or disassembled. The practical use of this appliance in the exercise with real troops turned out to be very satisfactory. Up to early May, all the research projects undertaken by the hospital have been completed and the research results have been applied to the exercises with real troops. These research results have helped troops to maintain a strong battlefield medical support capability.
