Recently, the education cooperation team of military colleges and universities for armament procurement officer was established, with six colleges and universities, including Armament Command and Technology Institute, the Air Force Engineering University were selected as authorized training colleges and universities. It symbolizes that our army has established an officer training system for armament procurement jointly-organized by authorized colleges and universities, cooperative colleges and universities as well as other training institutions.
In order to accelerate the progress of human resources development for armament procurement and to improve the working quality and efficiency of armament procurement, the army has made great efforts to perfect the training mechanism, subject knowledge and textbook system that are suitable to the requirements of armament acquisition under new conditions. The establishment of education cooperative team of military colleges and universities for armament procurement officers aims at enhancing the contacts and cooperation between each cooperative colleges and university, collecting and delivering education and training information concerning the training of competent people for armament procurement, exchanging and promoting achievements and experience in armament procurement officers training and carrying out cooperative education and other activities.
