Recently, the Maintenance and Service Center of a Weaponry System of the South China Sea Fleet was established at an ordnance reparation plant in a base of the South Chinas Sea Fleet, which is the a new mode of military -civilian integration armament support, jointly established by a research institute and the plant.
The supporting mode focused on the characteristics of new armament equipment and a "trouble-shooting team for reparation" was established with the ordnance reparation plant as the main body. The task of the trouble-shooting team for reparation is to assist the scientific research institutes in carrying out reparation work and is responsible for the daily support of naval vessels at sea and equipment as well as the technical support of graded reparations and important tasks. The establishment of the new reparation and support mode is conducive to the comprehensive support capability of the base.
