Han Qiuqi, political commissar of an engineer training group of the Beijing Military Area Command, has headed the Party committee of the group to carry through the important thought of "Three Represents" and spare no efforts to solve actual problems for the grassroots officers and men. They have solved a series of difficulties such as inadequate drinking water supply, shortage of facilities for bathing, telephone and TV. They have also helped to find jobs for servicemen's spouses and arranged a special school bus for children living in barracks.

　　The down-to-earth working style of Han has won trust of officers and men. He himself has won the third class merit for seven times and has been awarded the "Excellent Chief Officer at Division, Brigade and Regiment Level " since he took the current post. The training group has been awarded the "Advanced Unit of the PLA in Deepening the Reform of Training", "Advanced Management Unit" and "Advanced Unit of Overall Building".
