Recently, upon the approval of the Ministry of Personnel of the People's Republic of China, the first postdoctoral scientific and research working station for medical care of Shenyang Military Area Command opens to business officially at the general hospital of the military area.
In recent years, the General Hospital of the Shenyang Military Area Command have made rapid progresses in terms of technological innovations, scientific research conditions, human resources development as well as special branch constructions, thus acquiring tremendous strength in scientific research. Since the "Ninth Five-Year Plan period", the hospital has won a total of 151 national and provincial or ministerial funds for scientific achievements, 2 key topics of "Tenth Five-year Plan period" of the army and 343 scientific achievement awards, among which 7 were first-class awards and 39 were second-class awards.
