Recently, the reporter saw in the Internet Monitoring Center of a general communication station of the General Staff Headquarters that an intensive network security match was under way. The computer system of the Red was attacked by the Blue for more than 6,000 times in the same morning. Under the continuous attacks, the computers of the Red failed for many times due to the excessive information it had to process, however, the "encrypted documents" were intact. This is attributable to one of the measures taken by the station in searching for tactics and training methods to improve the communication network's counterattack capability so as to meet the needs of future war.
In recent years, the station has established an online training center based on the communication network and built up a mobile communication counterattack platform with the functions of training, exercise and actual combat. Only by entering their majors and selected training courses, the test questions for the trainees will come up automatically, and the scores will also be given automatically at the end of the training, thus turning the tactical training into a twenty-four hour, automatic and network one.
