On January 29, the first painless endoscopy training center was established in the Gastroenterology Department of the Changhai Hospital affiliated to the PLA Second Military Medical University.
According to Prof. Li Zhaoshen, director of the center, and concurrently director of Gastroenterology Department, endoscopic inspection is the most effective approach to discover and treat various digestive diseases and take out alien thing from digestive tract. Painless endoscopy enables doctors to make a precise and overall diagnosis and shorten the inspection time by 3/4 compared with that of common endoscopy. It is learned that the center will train a large number of excellent physicians of painless endoscopy to bring benefit to patients.
