An artillery regiment under the Beijing Military Area Command carries on intensive science- and technology-related military training of its troops and encourages its officers and men to actively learn new knowledge and be proficient at operating new equipment. By doing so, the unit is able to generate support capability for new equipment on the same year these new equipment are put into service.
