On Jan. 10, 23 NCOs and their spouses from an artillery regiment of the Hainan Military Command moved to the newly-build family quarters for NCOs happily. From then on, the NCOs' spouses of that regiment said goodbye to the "guerrilla-like" life. Prior to this, the Party committee of the regiment made a decision that instead of using money to decorate family quarters for the officers working in the leading bodies, they would rather renovate or build family quarters for NCOs. Before long, the constructions of four buildings with 32 rooms were completed and the rooms were also equipped with household electric appliances, kitchen utensils and appliances, etc.
